
This is our geodesic dome which absorbs sunlight directly across the full arc of the sun. It is used for starting seedlings and houses some cold sensitive perennials such as pomegranate, guava and avocado.

The raised hill behind the solar panel is an actual building housing the solar power inverters and irrigation equipment. The building is surrounded by water cisterns enclosed in the hill which collects the filtered water and stores for use in irrigation.

It's now up and running!

The majority of the barn is new, but we did keep a small portion of the old barn in tact for storage of old beams, small tools, etc.

This is our secondary greenhouse, but will be the primary building for growing produce through the winter.

The lower floor walls were built with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF). The main floor of the second level was completed with a pre-engineered concrete slab - both floors are equipped with in-floor radiant heat.

A large crane was required to lift the blades to the top of the turbine.

The outdoor classroom was built in a circular pattern of stone complete with electrical outlets. It was centrally located to several key points of interest - pollinators's glade, pond, energy building, solar panels, wind turbine.
